In short

You can use the free guide without giving us any personal details. We only receive personal information when you choose to send an enquiry, and we use it to reply to you.

When you send an enquiry

The contact form asks for:

  • your name and email address
  • your organisation and country, if you choose to add them
  • the type of enquiry and your message

We use these details only to reply to your enquiry and follow up on it. We don’t sell them, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.

The form is processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. Netlify stores each submission, checks it with an automated spam filter, and forwards it to our team by email.

Please don’t include passwords, ID numbers, bank details or health information in your message.

What the free guide stores on your device

When you tick a video as watched or a stage task as done, your progress is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name “aiafrica.guide.10-free-ai-videos.v1”. It stays on this device and is never sent to us. Use “Reset progress” on the guide page or clear your browser’s site data to remove it.

What we don’t do

No sign-up, no payments, no ads and no tracking cookies. We don’t run analytics or advertising tools on this website.

Like any web host, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to run and protect the website.

Links to other websites

The guide links to YouTube, Coursera and Instagram. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.

Your choices

You can ask us what enquiry details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Send your request through the contact form or message us on Instagram @ai_africatech.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
